Lars Eckerlein is General Manager, ABB (China) Limited, and Country Holding Officer, ABB in China. In these roles, Lars is responsible for ensuring ABB’s local compliance and serves as a spokesperson for ABB in China.
Lars joined ABB China as Chief Financial Officer in 2015 from EY where he was a partner for Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services and previously for Assurance and
Advisory Business Services.
Lars has worked in Germany, USA and China, and has been based in Beijing since 2004. He is an active member of the local business community, having served as Treasurer of the European Chamber of Commerce and currently serving as Vice President of the Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce.
Lars has passed professional qualifications as US Certified Public Accountant, German Certified Public Accountant and German Tax Advisor. He has a degree of European Master of Management from EAP European School of Management (now ESCP Europe).
