Amy Wang

Ms. Wang has over 30 years working experience in large financial institutions and state-owned enterprises. Ms. Wang joined HSBC in 2004 and served in Debt Capital Markets, where she has participated and originated various syndicated loans and milestone bonds transactions between 2004 and 2007. In October 2007, she took up the role of Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking (Northern China), HSBC China to lead commercial banking team in managing global relationships with key large local corporate clients. She joined HSBC China Beijing office in 2011 and was appointed Director of External Relations and was further promoted to the Head of Beijing Office in September 2016 to be fully responsible for HSBC China’s strategic external affairs. Ms. Wang assumed the role of Executive Vice President of HSBC China in April 2017.
Ms. Wang also serves on the following governmental and professional bodies: Vice Chairman of China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment; Council Member of China Association of Trade in Services; Council Member of the China Chamber of International Commerce; President of the Beijing Chaoyang Overseas Talents Association; China Committee Member of China-Britain Business Council; Director of General Office, Foreign Banks Committee of China Banking Association; Standing Committee Member, Self-regulation Committee of China Banking Association; Executive Director, Finance and Investment Committee of Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation; President of Beijing Chaoyang District Financial Chamber of Commerce; Board member of HSBC Philanthropy Foundation Beijing; Vice President, Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in China. Ms. Wang was also honored as a high-level talent under the Chaoyang Phoenix Plan, a government-led initiative to recognize outstanding professionals in Beijing.
Ms. Wang obtained an MBA from Babson College, USA in 2003.
